9 months ago we decided to move house and part of the reasoning behind this move was my old running path. Yes, you heard correctly, the new apartment is on my old running track. Probably a little foolish to move house because of a running track but for those that know me well, you know how obsessed with running I was (then life took an ugly turn and it stopped).
So next week we move into our new apartment and guess what, I am going to start running again. Ok, marathons maybe a little extreme at this stage but you never know. I’m well aware I will never be running the New York City marathon again but we all need to have dreams. Saying that, I do think a half marathon is probably achievable. Probably, maybe, hopefully!
So next Friday the 1st March I will very slow run my first kilometre. I’m not kidding myself, it’s not going to be like last time and it’s certainly not going to be easy but even walking out the door is a step in the right direction, right?
Now that it’s on the internet I have to do it right?
